Complete transformer diagnostic assessment for Mesquite Power’s 500KV 1,500MVA Autotransformer bank.

Sempra – Mesquite Solar I – Arlington AZ
Testing and Commissioning of 235kV Switchyard components and relaying to accommodate transformer replacements, line addition, and 600 MW photovoltaic solar array. This project included extensive reconfiguration of their 235KV switchyard and construction of a new solar substation. Scope included substation device testing, commissioning, and SCADA programming & integration.

Entegra & Sundevil Power Partners – Gila River Power Generating Station – Gila Bend AZ
Engineer, procure, execute, tested and commissioned a complete retrofit of the generator protection panels. Project consisted of removal of all legacy devices, replacement with micro-processor based equipment, integration of test isolation switches, addition of event record consolidation equipment.

Molycorp Minerals
Owners agent with regard to commissioning and 3rd party testing oversight for the Molycorp rare earths mine. A 50 MW combined heat and prime power system with MV and LV distribution, controls, and protection systems. Working on all aspects of this project including being tasked with everything from testing, to oversight, start-up, QA, commissioning, integration, field corrections, and training.
